Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Help publicize Begin Again – the District Attorney’s program that stops the criminalization cycle by disposing of outstanding summonses and summons warrants. We want to make sure that everyone in our community who can benefit knows about Begin Again.
Your assignment: distribute flyers about the program for 2 hours between now and April 13. Let us know when you can help, and if you can print out leaflets or want us to get them to you. We will give you a specific assignment so that activities of volunteers are coordinated and we get great coverage.
Also, let us know about neighbors and organizations that also can help get the word out to people likely to benefit.
CONTACT JED MARCUS OR KATRICE CLERMONT at INFO@ONECOMMUNITYNYC.ORG OR 718-643-6555
More about the Program: Begin Again can free people who find their lives limited by low-level criminal matters. There is no risk in participating. Participants have to attend on April 14 or 15. Preregistration is encouraged to speed their processing.
