Our neighbors at 15 Quincy Street and environs need our support. Please sign the attached petition requesting that the Board of Standards and Appeals (BSA) reject a developer’s application for a zoning variance that would permit them to build a ten story building in a height-restricted area at 32 Lexington Avenue in Clinton Hill.
Here’s what you can do:
- Sign the online petition
- Write the BSA stating your opposition prior the hearing scheduled for Nov 14th
Letters to the BSA should be addressed as follows:
Hon. Margery Perlmutter
Chairperson
NYC Board of Standards and Appeals
250 Broadway, 29th Floor
New York, NY 10007
Re: BSA Calendar No. 2017-23-BZ and the address of the Premises (32 Lexington Avenue, Brooklyn, New York)
* Come to the BSA hearing on Nov 14th to support your neighbors who would lose access to light and air directly behind the proposed building, and suffer traffic congestion due to the construction of a building on a narrow street without adequate provisions for school bus unloading, parking, etc.
Thank you for your interest and support.

To the Board of Standards and Appeals (BSA): reject the developer’s application for a zoning variance that would permit them to build a ten story building in a height-restricted area at 32 Lexington Avenue in Clinton Hill. Any new building should conform to the over all gestalt of the neighborhood and not stress the already fragile infrastructure.
