We need concerned citizens that want to participate.  There is pay (see below). They’re looking for 1,500 workers – but are very short of this number (they’re not even close).

If you or someone you know is retired, freelancing, or just interested, please share this request. The number to reach the Lolita Ferrin may need an extension. If anyone gets this, please share back to me.

The workers need to be available to take the training day and take the day to help people vote – 2 days total.

1-Day training: 4-5 hrs (mandatory)
1-Day poll worker shift: 5 AM-10 PM Day of Election (yep, it’s a 17hr day; *2hr break -TBD)
Pay: $200 – 500
No food or transportation provided
Pay 2 – 3 weeks after election

All poll workers – if not at their home location – will have to use an absentee ballot — takes two weeks to process, giving it enough time to be tallied before the results are certified.

Big Note:
There will be NEW two-part ballots that have to be ripped and then scanned separately.

Also, ballots must not contain errors or be ripped — If one is rejected, a new one must be issued and the “Style number” adjusted and noted – (this could be a problem).
Poll worker cannot separate the ballot for people. Each voter must separate their own ballot.

Bottom line – that they need people to monitor and help with the voting, for pay.

Please share, now. We can do this if each of us does a bit more than we planned.
