Committee for Board Action

Land Use
Ms. Janner, in her capacity as chair of the Land Use Committee, will present the committee’s recommendation (5-1-1) that the City disapprove the zoning map change, Zoning Resolution text amendment, application for special permit and application for waiver of the subway stair relocation requirement that together form the “570 Fulton Street Rezoning;” applications N 180455 ZCK, N 180457 ZRK, C 180458 ZSK and C 180459 ZMK.

Open Session and Other Business

The general meeting will conclude with an open session at which the public may speak briefly—please sign the speakers list—and other business as introduced by board members.

Community Board 2 (CB2) has scheduled a public hearing on October 17, 2018 to review applications filed with the Department of City Planning by 550 Clinton Partners LLC and 539 Vanderbilt Partners LLC.

The applications seek approvals to facilitate the development of two new mixed-use buildings, one four-stories in height and the other 29-stories, with ground floor retail, offices on the second floor and approximately 286 apartments at the southeast corner of Clinton Hill. The project will also facilitate the restoration of the Church of St. Luke and St. Matthew, 520 Clinton Avenue.
